Synopsis:
Éléonore lives in Paris but grew up on an island in the south of France. She recounts the moment in her life when she had to leave her island home to live in the anonymity of a big city. An emancipating, yet painful testimony to what we leave behind to be free.

A look at exile and the feelings torn between the desire to move to the city, but also the feeling of uprootedness when leaving a homeland with an insular identity.
A universal tale of migration, rurality and neo-urbanity.
